Sold out Carnegie Hall debut

In october Milos visited the US again. The last concert especially was a unique moment for him. It was his Carnegie Hall debut in the sold out Weill Recital Hall. The audience was thrilled by his interpretation of Bach´s Prelude and Fugue in C Minor, Albéniz´Asturias, Etudes by Villa-Lobos and more pieces from his album Mediterráneo.

Double Gramophone Award Winner!

Miloš won not one, but two awards at the prestigious Gramophone awards in London last week! The awards, often referred to as the Oscars of classical music and bestowed by the world’s most established classical music magazine, were announced at a ceremony on October 6, at The Dorchester Hotel, London. Miloš celebrated winning the “Young Artist of the Year” and “Specialist Classical Chart Award” (given to the best-selling classical album of the year). Miloš also performed “Alhambra” at the ceremony and was delighted to receive his first awards in recognition of his guitar playing.

Milos Down Under

Fresh from his European and US chart successes, Milos and his trademark white guitar case will soon be on their way to Taiwan, Korea and Australia. On his debut visit to Australia Milos will be giving free performance and Q&A sessions in Melbourne and Sydney.

A guitar player who won a scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music after sending an audition tape from the war-torn Balkans as a teenager has topped the classical charts with his debut album.
Milos Karadaglic, 27, who plays as simply Milos, knocked longstanding No1 artist Andre Reiu off the charts with his first album, called The Guitar.
